Are you Tired of the Dieting - Overeating Pattern?

Are you tired, just tired of going around in circles?

So you constantly feel you need to start another diet or workout plan to finally lose those last few pounds, and feel like yourself again.

But you're afraid that you’ll just fall off the wagon again after a few weeks because you also want to enjoy life and frankly, being on a diet is the equivalent of misery..

You’re not 20 anymore and your goals have changed. But so have your metabolism and your hormones.

You want to rock a bikini at the beach, but you also want to be able to enjoy life, and have great energy levels to do exactly what you want.

Let me tell you this..

What you don’t need is another strict set of rules so you can feel you’re failing all the time and throw in the towel again.

You need to find a system that works for you and allows a flexible way of eating that not only aligns with your lifestyle, but supports your metabolism and your hormones.

You may have done extreme dieting in the past and followed fads in desperation, I know I did, especially when I was younger.

But at a certain point, don’t we all want to find peace in a healthy relationship to food and to feel healthy and vibrant?

Extreme dieting and overeating patterns negatively affect your metabolism in the long run by triggering the starvation mode in your body and extreme cravings that make you overeat.

The stress produced by this, kicks your body into fat storage mode and can kick your hormones out of balance too.

The worst part is that it can become a hard wired pattern.

If you want to stop dieting-overeating patterns you need to start FROM WITHIN.

By listening to your body,

Learning to sit with uncomfortable feelings,

Honoring real hunger,

and finding balance from a place of choice and not restriction.

Ending this cycle from a place KINDNESS takes courage.

Here are three simple things you can do to start your journey towards healing dieting-overeating patterns and that have worked for me and for my clients.

#1 Practice tuning into your hunger cues.

We often eat without stopping checking in with our bodies.

Taking a moment to ask yourself “how hungry am I?” before a meal or snack, can really shed some light into our relationship to food.

You might indeed be very hungry, and in that case you should very well eat.

But you might find that maybe you’re not very hungry at all, but rather tired, or thirsty, or craving touch or connection.

Honoring your hunger and finding other forms of “nourishment” can be a game changer in ditching the dieting-overeating pattern.

#2 Learn how to balance your blood sugar

Keto is still a current fad. And although excessive sugar intake leads to weight gain and hormonal imbalances, you don’t have to ditch carbs to stay lean. You just have to learn how to combine them with proteins and fats to avoid blood sugar spikes. This will allow you to maintain optimal energy levels, reduce cravings for sugar, and best of all, avoid fat storage.

#3 Move your body every day in a way that feels good, and don’t over do it.

The benefits of working out go beyond burning calories. Moving your body in a way that feels good and gets your heart rate up, has known health benefits.

Dancing is proven to fire up your metabolism, raise the production of dopamine, serotonin and even oxytocin (which helps you relax). These neurotransmitters make you feel great and when you feel good and calm in your body, you’re more likely to make better decisions all day.

But there’s a catch: working out too strenuously after a certain age can also trigger the production of cortisol (the stress hormone), and might cause you to overeat to get into rest and repair mode. So finding balance in your workouts is also essential.

So if you’re done with extreme diets and fads, and falling off the wagon time and again,

and you want to find a healthy relationship with food;

If you want to learn how to eat for hormone health and longevity and be able to also enjoy the sweet life, social times and some indulgences, -without feeling confused or guilty or out of control…
